Ionized water is a powerful antioxidant.
Imagine having the ability to take normal tap water and turn it into an antioxidant with a NEGATIVE ORP (or charge), which retards the aging process. Put simply, a high or rising ORP causes oxidation of our cells and therefore aging. The negative ORP of ionized water literally retards the aging process by counteracting this rising ORP. Ionized water essentially renews us at a cellular level. For instance, real fresh squeezed orange juice has a negative ORP of -250. So does KYK Harmony water. This is an email that a Enagic Kangen representative named Harold wrote to a customer of ours. In it he calls products from Korea inferior amongst other things. Read his message then see our reply below.

My opinion:

I did see that the couple of cosmetic features that kyk machine has that the SD501 doesn’t have. However, because their technology is from Korea, I question the quality of this product. Japan leads the world in technology. Whether it’s cars, cell phones etc. Japan’s quality has stood the test of time. Some companies offer other little features to take the attention off that fact that the quality of the product isn’t as strong. KyK stated that you don’t need 7 plates which creates a much stronger ORP for a longer time period. However, a stronger ORP is very key in having a healthy body and a healthy environment for longer periods. The 7 chambers make the ORP at least 40% more powerful and extends the life span. It’s is also much more effective for relieving and preventing chronic conditions from occurring. The SD501 is the only Ionizer that has 7 chambers which makes it a top of the line product which will stand the test of time. I believe that the SD501 is the overall best considering 3 categories:

Healthy for your body
Healthy for your environment
Compensation for Referrals

I would want to have the best all around experience with my health. To me the SD501 is a sure thing. The other companies that manufacture this type of product mainly through the website is suspect on the quality. Just like there are major differences in the water that we didn’t know about prior to Kangen Water, there are are some quality issues with the different ionizers. As a result, I can’t promote a product that I am not personally using. I know that testimonies from this machine are phenomenal, and we have an opportunity to impact the world. It becomes an issue of do you want a top of the line product that have the components that promote longevity, or the one that’s mediocre with inferior quality? I don’t know about you, but I want the best for my health and I’m personally willing to pay for it. Thanks for taking a look at Kangen Water, and I hope that you make the best decision for your family.

Hi Patricia and Harold,

I’m sorry, but your analysis is full of problems and heavily biased
opinions. Here are some points to consider:

* You don’t want to drink water stronger than a 9 pH or -300 ORP.
Anything stronger is too far away from your own blood’s pH of 7.36. The
KYK Harmony can make water much stronger than this, with the only use
really being cooking. 7 electrodes doesn’t provide any advantage for the
average consumer, and they certainly don’t make the water 40% stronger,
only about 5-10%, depending on mineral content.

*Our filter can “only” filter 7000 liters because it is a much more
advanced filter — .01 micron and seven stages. It does a much better job
filtering the water. Enagic only offers a 1 micron carbon filter, so of
course it can filter more water, it isn’t doing as much filtration.

* Japan and Korea both make superior products in the market place and when
it comes to water ionizers, for twenty years the top manufacturers like
KYK, Akai, Engagic and Jupiter have all been studying each other’s
technology to advance their own products. The top manufacturers all make
the highest quality products, that’s why they’re on top.

Here is some more information from our analysis of the Kangen Water
Ionizer

“The Enagic SD-501 Kangen Water Ionizer also does nothing to solve the
problem of inconsistent water like both the KYK Harmony and Jupiter
Aquarius/Orion do. This means that they use a transformer based
electrical system that cannot adjust its ionization like the KYK Harmony,
and they don’t have any system to control the water flow like the Jupiter
Aquarius. So, you are going to get different water each time you turn it
on because your tap water is constantly changing. It may be a 9.3 one
day, a 9.8 the next … etc.

Bells and Whistles:

For being such a powerful water ionizer, the Enagic Kangen SD-501 is quite
short on features. In fact, the Enagic Kangen SD-501 water ionizer only
offers six different pH levels water to choose from. Compare that to as
many as sixty four levels with the KYK Harmony. It also does not offer pH
and ORP measurement, its LCD screen is not colored, and it only comes with
one type of installation method to your faucet (KYK gives you an undersink
option as well). It also doesn’t offer and water flow control like the
KYK Harmony — you have to do it all with your faucet! It does offer
voice alert, which may or may not be good depending on your personal
taste.”

And the KYK Harmony has the industry best SMPS electrical system, which is
the coolest and quietest, enabling to to ionize water for over an hour at
a time plus extending the lifespand of the plates!

Harold and Patricia, the KYK Harmony is a much better water ionizer than
Enagic. Plus the Enagic is OUTRAGEOUSLY priced because of the MLM
business structure. You can buy three KYK Harmonies plus some extra
filters for the cost of a single SD-501. This is supposed to be about
educating consumers and providing the best product, not a get rich quick
scheme which is what Enagic is running.

I hope that you guys can spread this email around to cut through some of
the lies and superiority complex Enagic has developed. And I hope both of
you purchase and run your own tests on the KYK Harmony so you can see for
yourself it is everything you could ever want in a water ionizer.

Dr. Young explains the difference between alkaline foods(spinach, blueberries) and acidic foods (meats, oils) foods and how consuming too much acidic food is the cause of weight gain, because the body needs a place to store the acid away from our vital organs. This is the famous colon therapy video by Dr. Hiromi Shinya that Enagic Kangen Water Ionizer affiliates have been showing to potential affiliates as a way of convincing them to join their MLM program. Many affiliates are claiming that Enagic has done this research, which is completely false. They also claim that only “kangen” water can have this healthy effect, which is also false. There is no such thing as “kangen” water, only alkaline and acidic water, and any water ionizer produces both. First off, thanks for a great month!  I feel like people are really catching on to the quality of our water ionizer and many of you made some decent commissions this month.  The leader in points for the Mexican Vacation Promotion now has 12.5.  Remember, it’s 1 point for every water ionizer you sell, .5 points for every water ionizer one of your affiliates sell.
 
There is still time to catch up!  All it takes is putting together a couple good demonstrations.  If you invite twelve people to one, approximately 20-30% will purchase a KYK Harmony.  Schedule three demonstrations this month, and you’ll be in business.  Let us know if you need help setting up a demonstration, we have some cools tricks you can do to get people’s attention. 
 
Secondly, we have awesome posters that you can use in local stores, offices, and clinics.  Each poster comes with “take one” cards attached to them that have all your contact information printed on them.  The cost to you is free, so why not make a presence in your community?   
 
Thirdly, many of you haven’t done much to customize the content of your webpages.  Here’s a simple way to market effectively:
 
1) Create content on your webpage that is attractive to a specific group, like families, doctors, chiropractors, restaurant owners, etc. Use articles from our website to find just the right information that they would want to know.
 
2)Now, create a Google Adwords or Yahoo Search account and create ads that point to your webpage, using specific keywords to your group.  For example, if you are trying to attract coffee shop owners, make keywords like “coffee shop”  “coffee supplies” “restaurant supplies” “coffee” “pure water” etc.  Or if it’s families, use keywords like “family health” “family wellness” “pure drinking water” “healthy water”, etc. 
 
Now, when people search on those terms in major search engines, your page will come up, people will click through to the main site, and when they purchase, you get credit!
 
Finally, we are looking to expand our testimonial section.  If you’ve had a good experience with ionized water, send us an email detailing it, and we’ll post it online.  Remember, the testimonial section helps you, too.  Not only will people read the testimonials before making a decision to purchase online, you can also print them out and hand them out to people along with your flyers and DVDs.  It also creates a sense of community, which I hope you are beginning to feel a part of.
