Cutting edge slotted plate technology! The platinum dipped titanium plates incorporate KYK's slotted plate technology, which has the best of all worlds -- extremely long life-span, optimal electrolysis and optimal ionization -- with none of the worries that go along with mesh plates, nor the lesser ionization of non-slotted plates.
Top of the line dual filtration! The KYK Genesis comes with a premium activated carbon filter as well as a brand new specialized media filter to help filter out more difficult contaminants like fluoride.
76 programmable pH and ORP levels! The KYK Genesis allows you to program nearly any pH and ORP combination, so as to customize your pH and ORP to the level that's right for you. This feature is essential due to the wide range of tap water quality in North America. Non-programmable ionizers cannot adjust to local tap water conditions, so these ionizers are at the mercy of your tap water and a handful of pre-set pH levels. The actual pH levels of non-programmable ionizers can vary greatly from the pH levels posted on the control panel of the unit. Simply put, when used in two different cities or states, a non-programmable ionizer will typically get two completely different pH level outputs when kept at the same pH setting.
SMPS (switched mode power supply) power control system! Since the KYK Genesis does not have a transformer, the KYK SMPS supplies extremely stable power. There is no need to worry about wear and tear, power loss or shortened life-span, since KYK does not use transformer-based power systems. Automatic water flow control! The KYK Genesis will automatically turn your water on, filter it, and ionize it. There is no need to manually adjust your water flow, which affords you peace of mind.
Nine preset pH levels to choose from! The multi-color LCD screen displays pH, ORP, exact water flow rate, any auto-diagnosis issues such as filter contamination, actual remaining filter life for the dual filters, and volume levels.
KYK Genesis Touch Sensors
Below the LCD screen are seven easy-to-use touch sensors. To create alkaline water at a 10 pH, all you have to do is press the "Alkali Water" sensor until it displays a 10 pH, then touch the "On" button. To make acid water, just press the "Acid Water" touch sensor and touch "On".
KYK Genesis Installation
Installation is also a breeze with the KYK Genesis. Using the 1/4" tubing that is provided, follow these simple steps: (1) Either install the stainless steel cold water line diverter valve under your sink, or install the stainless steel diverter valve on your faucet head. (2) Run the 1/4" tube from the diverter valve to the compression valve marked "IN" underneath the KYK Genesis. (3) Connect the second 1/4" tube to the valve marked "OUT" to drain the acidic water from the KYK Genesis. As noted above, connect the Genesis either to your faucet head or to the cold water line underneath your sink, unlike other companies, we provide BOTH valves with your Genesis.
